Art Room Coral Springs

Sure this is called the art room, but it is actually more than that. Art isn't just painting and pottery. Because of this, the room is large, and is actually broken up into sections, with partitions or half-walls to give each area boundaries.

The largest section is where the cabinets, cubbies and various tables are. Also in this section is the teacher's desk and one of the sinks for cleaning up at.

The other sections are dedicated to certain styles of art. There is a section for doing pottery with a both a kick wheel and two electric pottery wheels, kiln and racks and cabinets for drying pottery and storing equipment.

Easels take up another area, and a few computers workstations in another.

Toward the back is another sink for cleaning up at. Next to that is another section with an upright piano and a cabinet that holds a /small/ selection of musical instruments and other things aspiring musicians would need.

It is a summer night. The weather is cool and drizzling.

It's been a few hours since what will now be known as 'The Tiger Incident'. Besa was in the arts room earlier today with Rain briefly, so he's hoping she'll not come back. He just needs to be alone. He's found no one wants him to cry, and sometimes that's what's needed. Currently he's all cried out, tear streaked cheeks, and is currently curls in a corner on the floor next to the kiln. Luckily it's not on. Cocoa is in his lap, trying her best to cover him with her whole body. It's evening, but not past curfew. He very much missed dinner.

Schuyler probably wondered about where Besa was during dinner and after a little bit he decided to go looking for him. It isn't too hard to find his mental presence so he makes his way to the Art Room, using the pretense of returning the ink bottle to the supply shelf. He does that errand first, pretending that he doesn't notice Besa there. He then casts a glance over to the boy and dog before he offers, «Please tell me you're not hurt. I'm having flashbacks…» since they found the murdered besa in the Art Room…near the Kiln.

Besa's head turns away from Sky, not that he really thinks he can hide the fact he was crying. "My heart ….feels as if it is breaking…" Cocoa whines softly, trying to nestle further against the teen. His right hand is clenching something against his chest, near his heart.

There's a brief frown and then a look of concern before he moves to crouch down beside the other teen. «Hey…» is offered almost gently, «What's going on? Can I help?» He looks to the closed hand over the other's heart before looking back to Besa's face. He doesn't seem to care if Besa was crying.

Cocoa's tail moves, more just a response to Sky being close. She seems to want people near, she's worried. Besa's eyes close but when he opens then he does look at the blonde, "I…my chest….hurts…I…." Now that Sky's this close, Besa has that haunted look in his eyes as well when he remembers something from a past life. "I thought Cocoa was going to…die…I…I can not….My blood will not bring her back if…." His free hand tightens around the dog, "I will not lose her too…" Sky gets a pleading look, "My heart hurts…" His anxiety attacks have manifested like this in the past.

Schuyler reaches out to place a hand on Besa's arm, «Count slowly to twenty, ok? Just focus on the counting. Or look around the room and tell me what you see…» Sky did a little research to see how to handle anxiety attacks…probably for Besa. He first needs to get the other to calm down and just saying to do so won't do anything. «Want me to count with you?»

Besa counts, it's proubably faster than Sky meant, and in Coptic, but he counts. He looks tiny, maybe it's because Cocoa's trying to smother him into feeling better, her head is next to his hand, on his chest. "I…I am sorry…You do not wish my drama…." He swallows though, making the attempt to keep looking at Sky.

«Slower…count slower. Take a breath between each number…» Sky encourages, not moving away from any supposed 'drama'. «Count again…» Coptic or English, he'll wait until Besa seems a little calmer. «It's not drama.»

Speaking of Besa's drama… out of no where appears Dylan. The boy looks around, searching for Besa. He has since changed clothes for something that is warmer and he never thought he would say it, something warmer. "Thank God… I was beginning to freak… I figured you were in your room, but there wasn't anyone there. Does your roommate ever stay there? Seriously, dude must have less stuff than you do." He is completely unconcerned about whoever this other person is.

Besa swallows and gives the smallest of nods before counting again. Again in Coptic. It's slower, but he seems to be breathing a little more steady now. "I was…sacred….I though Cocoa was going to die and it just….I remember what happened to Nannyote….I remember not healing …" He closes his eyes, trying to center himself as he pulls Cocoa impossible closer. Poor pooch is gonna be smooshed! When Dylan suddenly appears Besa opens his eyes, but he just musters a slightly confused and pained look at 'Poofy Pop'.

Schuyler looks over at the new presence and frowns, «Who are you?» is asked before he looks back to Besa, his focus for the moment. «She's ok for now, Besa. She is. See? She's right here and she's trying to help you. If she ever gets hurt or sick, you know we'll get her to the vet as soon as we can. But…» ugh, this is hard. «You're going to outlive her. It's just…a fact. But you have every right to want her to be safe and healthy and I bet that was hard having that memory…» see? He can be sort of nice when he wants to be. «She's ok for now.»

Dylan only glances at Schuyler for the briefest of moments, then choses to ignore him, at least for the moment. He looks at the upset Besa. "Are you okay? Look I'm sorry I yelled at you…" He really didn't, but he figures that is what Besa would want to hear.

Sky's words seem to calm Besa some until he decided to throw some hard truths at the ancient teen. His eyes close, 'I will outlive all of you, Schuyler." A small tremble runs through his body, visible to everyone and he shifts, keeping the one arm around the dog and the other pressed into his chest. His breath hitches slightly when he tries to take a deeper breath to answer Dylan, "It is….fine, Tom." He only kinda remembers what Dylan said, anyway. The past memory kind of overloaded everything else. And the image of a tiger charging at Cocoa.

«Who in their right mind would yell at Besa?» Sky turns to look at the other. Not even Sky 'yells' at Besa, even if he feels strongly about something. There's a little sigh before he nods, «I know you will. I just didn't want to say that yet.» At the mention of the notorious 'Tom', he looks over at the other and takes him in with narrowed eyes. «That's not his name…» is offered almost smugly before he turns back to Besa at the image he catches. «Where the hell did the tiger come from?».

"No shit Sherlock… It's a nickname." It is, and a fake name too, but hey. Dylan looks at Sky for a second, "And not really talking to you, right now, whoever you are…" His attention is back to Besa. "That's why you looked like." He was about to say 'kicked your dog', but decided that might not be the best choice of words. See he does have a filter. "like I had kicked you in the balls…" See, that's better.

Oh….this isn't going to go his heart any favors. The ancient teen frowns softly, "I know Schuyler. It is what I call him…" He takes another breath, not as deep this time (he learns!), "A student….shifted." He winces when Dylan retaliates verbally against Sky. Although he's not sure exactly what he teleporter is referring to, "I am….my heart is….vulnerable… to stress…" No need sayin why at this point. Maybe later when he doesn't feel like he's dying.

Schuyler straightens and looks down at the shorter 'Tom', his eyes still somewhat narrowed in scrutiny. «I'm his brother,» is offered matter-of-factly. «And he's right. His heart -is- vulnerable.» In more than a few ways. There's a quick glance to Besa before he takes a step aside. Back to 'Tom', he points, «You hurt him…I -will- see you suffer.» Isn't family great?

Maybe knowing that continuing this line of conversation won't do Besa any good, he's going to separate himself from the situation. For now. Back to Besa, «If you need me, I'll be in the Ares dorm area.»

Dylan moves over to Besa's side after Schuyler decides to part company. He kneels down, looking at the ancient teen. "You return from the dead, but you have a bad heart…" He wants to snicker at the irony, but he doesn't. Instead he sighs softly, "I'm sorry, Besa… Is there anything I can do to help?" He looks at the door that Sky had departed, "Well, I guess I probably screwed the pooch in making a good first impression with your family, huh?"

"Schuyler…" But it's too late, the Ares has left and Besa looks more upset now. This is not what he wanted! He wets his lips, "My…I was attacked, part of my heart taken…" Is that possible? With magic anyhting is possible! "It has been restored, but….my anxiety…" Which is what Cocoa is for. "It feels like I am having a heart attack…" Hopefully, anyway. He's fucked if he ever has a real heart attack, because he'll just assuming it's this. Those dark haunted eyes slide closed and his head shakes gently, "No…just…sit with me…" The tiniest of smiles tugs at the corner of his mouth. "I think Schuyler would not…like anyone…" Weird that he's okay with Rain dating though. "This will….pass. It always does…"

Listening, his expression grows dark, like he could murder whoever would hurt Besa like that, but equally is concern for Besa is overwhelming. Dylan sits down, next to the Egyptian boy, taking Besa's hands into his own. "I'll sit here as long as you want me to." He cocks his head slightly, "Well, no offense, but he gives off the feeling that he's a bit of a dick." He's pretty sure that it isn't just a feeling.

There's a bit of a tremble, both of Besa's hands were doing important things, but he let's go of Cocoa, she seems to not be going anywhere. In fact she glances at Dylan and her tails does the same one time wag in acknoledmemnt before she goes back to smother healing the Egyptian. Besa's brow furrows a little more at Dylan's expression. He's over sensitive, understandably so, and isn't sure if he shouldn't have told Dylan all of that. But then he says something makes the teen force a small , amused smile, "I do…seem to attract them." He shifts his hand on his chest. It looks like he's clutching something and pressing it towards his heart.

Dylan rubs the back of Besa's hands with his rough thumbs, with a very gentle pressure. He snorts slightly, "I know you're not referring to me with that… cause I am in no way a dick." He can't even say it with a straight face; he knows himself too well for that. The pressure increases just a touch as his thumb rubs soft circles a little bit - in no ways enough to be even called firm. He lets go of Besa's right hand, letting his freed hand go down to lightly pet Cocoa.

The touch seems to help, Besa's eyes close again and he tries to concentrate on breathing regularly. "Of course not." Cocoa doesn't respond to the pets, really. She's working! But Besa cracks his eyes open and smiles softly. He likes it when his friends love Cocoa. "I am…sorry you must see me like this…" It can't be helping the debate of Like vs like that's going on his Dylan's mind. Well, better for him to know now, Besa supposes.

Dylan shakes his head, "Besa… don't apologize… There is nothing to apologize for anyway… Remember what I said, we all have our baggage and issues.. I didn't know what all of yours was when we talked last night, but that didn't change the fact that I wasn't aware that you had history which I knew left its scars." The way he talks, he sounds like he has some serious scars of his own, more than what he's touched on before. "So just try to relax." He scoots over so that he is sitting next to Besa. He wraps his arm around the boy's shoulders and holds him talking about anything or nothing for as long as Besa needs or wants. Curfew be damned. If the staff doesn't understand, then screw them.
