Friday evening, what better place to hang out that the Library! Besa's at a table with a few sheets of paper spread out dressed in designer jeans and a thick sweater. There's no books out yet, but he's working on…soemthing. But whatever it is, he's scratched I out many times. There's even a few balled up pages. He's stoped, pinching the bridge of his nose, eye closed on frustration. A chocolate lab is laying underneath the table snoozing.

Bryce walks into the Library with three books under his arm. The largest of the books is titled Compendium of Greek Mythology. The next in size seems to be completely on demonology. The last of the three is a novel The Count of Monte Cristo. He walks up to the Book Return section and places the three books down. Turning to head over to the book catalog, he pauses to glance at the computers. Remembering playing the computer game with Lily, he starts to head over towards the computers though he stops when he sees the young man with the dog. "Um, hi?" he whispers.

Besa looks up, as no one else is there. His accent is thick and clearly arabic. "Hello." His head tilts causing perfect hair to flop to the side like a shampoo commercial. "Did you need assistance with something?" Not recognizing the boy Besa offers a soft smile, "I am Besa Ini-Herit. I am a Guardian."

Glancing down at the dog again before speaking, Bryce says, "Sorry to interrupt. Just wanted to say hello. I'm Bryce, and, well, I'm rather new still." He then blinks his eyes and says, "Guardian? I'm not sure what you mean. I mean, I know what a guardian is in generally; however, the way you are using the word seems specific."

Besa smiles warms up, "This is Cocoa. She is mine." He seems proud of that. "I am a Guardian of Prometheus. It is my team. You will pick one eventually." He shifts some to face Bryce better, "Is there anything I can help you with? I know this can be very overwhelming." Now that Bryce is closer, he may pick up a faint scent of dirt clinging to Besa.

Bryce glances back to the dog again and then to Besa. Speaking of the dog, he says, "I've seen pictures." From the way he says it, he has never actually seen one in real life. When Besa asks if there was something he could help with, Bryce says, "Oh, yes, the teams. I have only briefly surveyed them; however, I have yet to research them. Is there really that much difference between the teams? I'm just wondering, well, what happens if I pick the wrong one."

Bryce shakes his head a bit and says, "No, pictures of dogs." To say that he has had a sheltered life would be a massive understatement. "Therapy dog? Why would … " Bryce catches himself and says, "Sorry. Never mind." He then switches the top back to the teams. "Well, I don't think that Metis or Ares would be a good fit for me." He then sounds a bit nervous when he adds, "Not that there is anything wrong with them, I'm sure. They just don't seem like me. Why did you decide to pick Prometheus?"

Oh, wow. Ok. "Would you like to pet her?" Besa likes sharing Cocoa to make people happy! He knows the question as soon as Bryce starts to ask, "It is alright. I have been through some…not pleasant things. She helps with my anxiety." He misers, nodding in understanding, "I am a healer, The Guardian philosophy seemed to call to me." He reaches under the table and makes a soft clicking noise with his mouth. Cocoa's head comes up, blinking, but awake.

Bryce clearly gives the petting of Cocoa some thought, but in the end he seems to decide against it. "Um, maybe not. Probably shouldn't do it the first time." It is probably hard to tell if he means his first time meeting Cocoa or his first time seeing a dog. Or both. "Oh, well, I'm not a healer. So maybe I should go Athenian. That was the other one I was thinking about." He sighs a bit. "Which is obvious because that is the only one remaining. Sorry." He decides not to bring up the things that Besa has gone through that lead to him needing a therapy dog. He has been through some difficult things and isn't sure he woudl want to talk about them with someone he just met.

Besa pets Cocoa then, but says, "If you decide you wish to, let me know." Dark eyes study Bryce, "What do you wish to be?"That's a big question. "You do not have to apoligyse. It is a lot." Anoterh smile, "Rain is an Athenian, she is a very good person."

Bryce nods his head and says, "Um, okay. I'll remember that." He then furrows his forehead a bit when he is asked what he wishes to be. "I'm not sure." His shoulders drop a bit and says, "I guess that sounds stupid. Right now I'm just trying to find a way to use my powers so I don't hurt myself and/or others while trying to find a way to control my powers so they don't kill me."

"No, you are young, not everyone knows at this point in their lives. Do not feel rushed." Besa can understand that, "I think that is wise, to focus on your powers." Besa does not recommend dying.

Bryce nods his head. "I have met Rain. Perhaps I should ask her why she joined the Athenian team. Is everyone in Prometheus healers?" Bryce glances over at the computers for a bit before looking back to Besa. He takes a deep breath a few times as though sniffing something in the air. He thought that he smelt something like dirt or clay. Maybe that is how dogs smell? Bryce wasn't sure.

Besa keeps petting Cocoa, who's patently laid her head on his knee. "No, not everyone. But it is about serving humanity. And self sacrifice for the greater good." Dark eyes roam to the commuters and then back to Bryce, "Are you alright?"

Bryce nods his head and says, "Just was trying to think what books I should do next." He then decides to explain. "I tend to read a lot, and Lily let me play a computer game the other day." Again, it sounds like it was the first time. "I thought at some point I should practice here in the library computers some day." Then going back to books, he says, "I've been trying to do some research for Loukanos, but the actual texts are in ancient Greek which I don't know yet. So I'm trying to think what should be the next book I learn."

Besa perks up, "Oh! I have a few poetry books, if you would like to borrow one?" But computers, that perfect hair sways, "Ah, I am sorry. I can not help you with the computers." His brow furrows, "What are you researching for Loukanous?"

Bryce thinks for a moment about the poetry. "Poetry might be interesting. I have read a few poems, but I've mostly read information books, dictionaries, encyclopedia. That sort of thing." He then mentions the research that he is trying to do for Loukanos. "There is something going on with Persephone. She is missing so I thought maybe I could try and help." Glancing down at his watch, he says, "I should be heading back to my room. I have been working on some ideas for controlling my power and need to practice some more tonight before heading to sleep. It was nice, uh, meeting you, Besa."
