Stefanie is in a quarantine room, door sealed and the room is blast-proof. She's dozing off in the bed, an IV line and monitors plugged into her. Her skin is covered in green dots, and at least she stopped sneezing long enough to sleep. There are blast-marks and carbon scoring along the walls of the room.

Having been meaning to come to the medbay to offer help, Diego hasn't really been able to do too much. Though today, with no schoolwork, he's gotten time to actually invest some time at the medbay. Having some form of medical skills. Thus, today he's here. Heading for where any nurse or staff can offered any info on the disease to him. Since Stefanie is in a quarantine room, he might not be able to head in right away without anyone present.

A few minutes later, Moritz enters the medical bay. He has been looking for Diego and finally caught up with him. Now, the smartly dressed Englishman will begin closing on his prey, or rather his compatriot. In transit across the floor, he will note the sleeping stature of Stefanie and keep his accented voice low in greeting; casting a muted voice, he says, "Diego?" and upon eye contact he will continue, "I'm Moritz. Admin told me you have the answer to Stefanie's problem that I've been looking for."

Stefanie can't hear anything outside the room, so a lowered voice will only benefit the other students being seen. She stirs a bit and then… she sneezes. Another explosion goes off in the room as a flash of light and fire goes off, air quickly being filtered out. Stefanie sighs as she wakes up again.

Diego does look over at the voice, eyebrows raised. Nodding a bit to the words. "Yeah, that's me." Blinking though, not sure what problem Stefanie has in particular. "Oh? I'd be happy to help. I was coming here to help with that weird disease that's been spreading." Tilting his head, adding. "Is i-." Then there's the rumbling, and flash. Blinking as he looks over in the direction of it. Well, perhaps it is common in a place like this, but it still startles Diego. "Is it connected?" He asks, as he goes back to the previous conversation. Eyes on Moritz now.

The flash will surely distract Moritz who will flench and turn toward the expulsion. The look on his face is that of concern and the wild eyes of 'that's incredible'.

Still looking Stef's way, Moritz answers, "Quite." as an affirmation to the question presented about being connected. "Together, I posit, the two of us - with your ability to speak to plants and animals and my own magical abilities - will be able to cure her and anyone else who has been infected. However, there is a risk…" Withe closing of his statement, Moritz looks back to Diego to judge his reaction to the remark of 'risk'.

Stefanie looks around, checking the time and sighing as she sits up a bit. She sees Moritz through the glass, but he seems to be talking to someone else. She takes a moment to check her skin, still seeing the spots. "So far i only seem to have another day or two.." She says to herself, her voice not carrying outside the room.

Diego raises a brow, "Risks make it interesting, right?" He suggests and smiles. "So, what do you need?" He asks the other boy. As it seems like the best suggestion, on how to deal with this, so far. Hands going into his pockets as he tilts his head.

With his eyes still on Diego, Moritz says with earnest tone, "You. In this venture, you and I will enter that room." indicated with a thumb toward Stefanie's position, "Thus exposing ourselves to the pathogen and the risk of her dispatching us to Neverland with her sneezing. I suspect I will be fine due to my magical shields. But you on the other hand; I do hope your ability to communicate with plants gives you barkskin. Otherwise this may be a very short and uneventful jaunt into the 'interesting risk'." He gives pause to make his point clear and then states the plan, "When we arrive in the room you will make contact with the organism within her, force it to become dormant and I will then increase her healing factor and immune responses through magical intentions. Then, within the hour, we will discern if we've done any good."

Stefanie stills sees Moritz talking. She reaches over and grabs her microphone/remote. "Moritz? Is that you? What's up?" She asks, her voice filled with concern. "Is everything alright out there?"

Diego grins, "I think that I technically could mimic that. Not sure if that's the same thing though." He offers and chuckles softly. "I should be able to mimic exoskeleton." He adds, as that might minimize the risk. Though probably not enough to completely leave him unharmed. Nodding slowly about it. "I will do my best. I'm not completely sure over my skills with such tiny organisms, though I have been working on that, reading about micro-organisms." He offers, nodding a bit slowly. "However, I've got to make it work, right? Besides, this year has been full of firsts for me so far."

Drawn to her voice, Moritz turns his attention from Diego with his assessments and assumptions. He answers Diego with a, "Quite." as another affirmation to his addressing the need of the moment.

Breaking from Diego, Moritz will move to the window and intercom button. His eyes clearly in Stefanie's and filled with seriousness. He pushes the intercom button when within reach and will respond in his solemn English accent, "Morning Stef. Good to see you again, albeit the circumstances could be better - which is something that we're about to take care of. I did some research into your dilemma and the spreading of this pathogen. And I have formulated a plan and recruited Diego to assist in the matter."

Stefanie blinks, surprised. "Oh..Um.. Have you discussed it with the doctors? I mean, if it works for me, we have to make sure it works for everybody." She says, more concerned for everybody else that's been infected with this. She hasn't been able to talk to anyone and see how Grayson is, and she's been separated from Bev for quite a few days now. She sits up, concerned. She brushes her hands through her hair, looking a bit of a mess. "And.. can you do that from out there?" She asks, concerned for their safety as well.

Diego does move to follow, giving a small wave at the introduction. "If it works, I'd be happy to keep doing it." He offers, for his part. A bright smile offered to her. As for the last words, he looks to Moritz. Letting Moritz speak, since he's at the intercom button. While Diego is just next by.

"That's the rub…." states Moritz in response to Stef's question. The he releases the intercom button, turns to address Diego and queries, "Are you ready?"

When Moritz asks this, his skin begins to turn orange and have a dull radiant glow about it. Orange is the new black and orange is the color of his mystery. Or something.

Stefanie blinks. "Um…" She's worried, especially for them. "I.. guess." She grabs tissues, trying to be prepared and hoping she doesn't sneeze while the boys are in there. "Come in.. Just.. please take every possible precaution." She's brought back mentally to the first time her powers manifested, the house that blew up, and her best friend's body in her arms. She holds herself tight, trying to control in any way she can.

Diego nods, "Sure, let's do this." Since Moritz ignored the question about getting approval from staff, Diego will just go along with it. This is to help after all. Besides, it gives him an opportunity to learn a lot, which he'll never say no to. Closing his eyes briefly to prepare for when he goes inside. A slight shift in his own appearance as well. Moving behind Moritz.

The door is opened, quickly Moritz steps in and will say, "Hello, again Stef." while he moves around the room to the opposite side of the table intent on standing on her right side. While moving away, he's leaving Diego to close the door and re-secure the room. Moritz will ask, "Stef, I'm going to need your hand for this…" and he will offer his right hand, palm up so that she can place her own in his. The hand remains orange, given to that radiant glow of protection, so likely he's shielded from her cooties. His dark green eyes peer into hers displaying a confident, yet concerned gaze. All the while, he also waits for Diego to get into what ever position he needs.

Stefanie nods, still nervous. "Well… if you get sick… I'm sorry.." She says, visibly concerned. She reaches out with her right hand and gingerly takes hold of his. She looks over to Diego to see what he might need. "Th..Thank you… for at least trying.. I hope this will work for everybody." She bites her bottom lip.

Diego does head in and close the door behind them. Moving to the left side of her. "I'm still learning this microcommunication thing, so give it time. If either of you can help, feel free to." He asks of them. Reaching out a hand to try and touch somewhere that is infected. "May I?" Then putting down his hand on her, if allowed. Clearly infected. But if this works he has nothing to worry about.

Taking her hand, Stef will find his preternaturally warm with the hint of some electrical static (which is raw magic), he will smile and give a nod of greeting, "It's a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance."

His focus then turns to Diego as Moritz places his left hand over Stef's right so as to envelop it with both of his. He watches Diego prepare. He listens to the words and watches the movements. Then Moritz refocuses the magical energies and remains quiet as he closes his eyes and let the magic flow.

Stefanie shrugs, looking between the pair. "I don't exactly know what you have in mind, so I don't think I could rightly help." She blushes and nods to Moritz. "Likewise." She tries to smile, but can't help but feel totally awkward as two boys, whom she barely knows, are in the room touching her. She turns to Diego. "I'm Stefanie, by the way." She introduces herself, trying to make it feel less awkward, even if it is only by a fraction.

Diego ahs, grinning at her. "Sorry. Pleasure, I'm Diego. It's really nice to meet you." Trying to focus. "I just have to remember how these communicate." After a moment of trying different methods even vibrating he seems to almost mentally scream in his own head, not certain what to do. Finally going still and completely focused for a moment.

Remaining silent, Moritz focuses on the pushing of his magical energy through Stef. She may or may not detect it. But if she can, it's likely something warming and invigorating. Essentially it's something to boost her immune and overall health. It will make her feel better in the short term, but if Diego cannot turn the bug off, it's just a temporary fix.

Stefanie just lies back and closes her eyes, doing her best not to sneeze nor to distract either of them. She feels the energy running through her, which is helping to keep any sneezes at bay. She begins to feel better, but still refrains from saying anything until they mention if they're done.

Diego does take his sweet time. It probably feels like forever for the two of them. After a moment he does move some. Body language similar to a conversation. After another couple of minutes he opens his eyes, taking a deep breath. "Okay… I think that should work. I hope. How long has it been?" He asks. If there is a clock in the room then in total they'd probably have been here for at least twenty minutes. "Sorry, it's like learning a whole new language. But I think I managed to tell them to stop and that they understood." Finally trying to pull back his hand. "We do need to try and save and keep them though, unless they can live as normal bacteria in there." He suggests, smiling softly. Seeming a bit drained. "Either of you got any water?"

Moritz has been standing quietly, practically meditating. When Diego speaks up, Moritz turns his chin to the side as if to address the moment in question and sense a change. His lips part and he 'shhhhhhhhh's' to indicate to Diego that there is a need for silence. His attention returns to the hand, the magic, and the flow. He increases the output now that Diego has done his job… <2 minutes will pass before he does anything else lending to Stef to pose if she wishes or Diego to find water>

Stefanie just looks between the two, still not quite knowing what's going on. When Diego asks for water, she points to a pitcher of ice water that was brought in for her and cups that weren't touched. She says nothing though, doing her best to concentrate and think of her cells and getting better.

Diego nods at Moritz. Falling silent. Moving to find water. Staying in here until Moritz is done. Sliding into the background though. Reassuring smile offered to Stefanie.

Two minutes later, Moritz opens his eyes and says, "Brilliant." in a slightly excited tone. He looks to Stef and then across to Diego. "Wonderful job, mate."

Stefanie looks up to Moritz and smiles, turning to the both of them. "Thank you.. I.. kinda feel better already, but we'll see what they say." She squeezes Moritz's hand in thanks. "Now you should both go rest. I'm sure that took a bit out of the both of you. I'm going to try to take a nap and see if that helps kick this out of me more. Again, thank you both."

Moritz will smile, release her hand, and move away to find where he may rest. Even if it's on the floor against the wall. Time will tell.
