Example Characters

This will be an example of major known characters built with this system to help give everyone an idea of what they can do.

For a standard of comparison, I will use the wikipedia powers listed there without going to other sources. Some may get more attention at other places, wikipedia seems neutral enough to make these comparisons.

Brick (Superman)

Energy: He does have heat vision that he can attack with, this is high to represent the amount of energy damage he can withstand, dodge and shrug off.

Physical: The guy can lift mountains, you don't want to be punched by the man of steel. He has fought enough to be well trained at fighting, not simply rely on his super strength.

Super Strength/Durability: Super Strength to account for bending steal, lifting mountains, breaking rock with his fists, durability to include surviving in extremes to include living in the vacuum of space. The only steps above durability for him might be surviving in chaos realms and dimensions with unworldly physics.

Flight: He can fly at super speeds, but he's not flying at speed of light, or reverse the turn of the earth in this version.

Super Speed: If he's just on foot, he's still pretty damn fast.

Vision Power: His eyes see better than humans and his vision doesn't simply absorb and translate energy into like colors as with humans, it puts out energy, into x-ray and gamma ray. He has telescopic vision, and can see into and through objects.

Alien Intelligence: He knows a lot of human sciences and sciences beyond earth normals. Mind is what he is capable of learning and the reaction time of his mind, this is a utility intelligence skill to give him 4 in many earth sciences as a catch all.

Heightened Hearing: Its ridiculous, he can float above the world and pinpoint someone on the earth by knowing their exact frequency. Its amazing, as long as the sonic waves can reach him, assuming something doesn't absorb or block, he can pretty much hear it clearly despite other noises by isolating the sound itself.

Super Breath: He can blow with forces, a part of this is accounting in his physical action skill, he can knock over humans, but its super, he can decrease it such that it not only blows at a temperature below freezing, but so cold it can freeze what it touches.

Energy: His blasts are enough to cut through steel and harder substances. His body is naturally immune to these blasts and he is quick on his feet, able to withstand other energy sources and quick on his feet to dodge and move out of the range of others. He has high spatial reasoning too, a ranged energy attack directed at him is easily avoided as he can calculate trajectory and path to not be where it is aimed.

Physical: He's just a bad ass, years of fighting other mutants, including super strong ones, has taught him how to give as good as he gets, looking for weak points on strong guys, avoiding big fists, and taking a fight to anyone should he absolutely need to.

Energyblast: His blast can go through nearly any substance, including steel and denser alloys. But he can fine tune this to start fires, cute shapes out of objects like a torch, and the like.

Leadership: Scott has a way of speaking the gets folks to listen. And its not commanding, its working with people to help them make the best of their situations too. He knows what folks can do and what folks need to achieve their maximum. He is natural at helping others in this way. Not soft at helping, where he simply gives, but firm, that he makes them achieve what they are good at and it makes them feel good about themselves. He comes off abrasive at first, but he quickly earns respect and gives it.

Spatial Awareness: Math and angles and trajectory and such all happen rapidly in his mind. Perhaps in part his mutant ability, but years of his eye blasts, he can angle his beams to precision off multiple surfaces. Not by aiming until he hits the mark, but literally reading the environment around him that it only takes one shot to achieve keyhole precision over multiple surfaces and great distances.

Master Tactician: Coupled with his leadership and ability to read others, he's a master tactician, reading the moves of others ahead of time. Knowing where a villain may go, or what they may want to do, position those he knows in places to be ready for it. This isn't simply lining up two units to fight, this is plotting ahead for subtle moves and knowing what goals others have by watching and studying, then reacting at the right time to handle such situations.

Gadgeteer (Batman)

Weakness: He is just a man in the end, without his gadgets, if he takes damage, he really gets here (see: Bane). He has actually taken a lot of damage, this is starting to take a toll on his body as he ages, each passing year sees his agility (defense) reduced as he continues to fight the fight.

Physical: He is a master of martial arts, trained with the League of Assassins, done a lot of fighting throughout his life. He is augmented be his suit and gadgets which to things like shoot batarangs, grappling hooks, can block with his kevlar/nomex which deflects bullets and protects him from fires even. Those bigger baddies that do more damage he can dodge and has learned to withstand blows.

Energy: His suit is able to withstand energy based damages to a degree, mingled with his own natural reflexes, he can only do energy based damage when his suit or gadgets are prepared with things such as lasers.

Engineering Genius: He can build anything he needs and knows who to contact when he doesn't.

Science: Self study has lead him to be scene as an authority in many earth sciences, there are better individuals in respective fields, but Bruce Wayne knows an awful lot.

Resources: He started off wealthy, but his company has grown and diversified, he is perhaps one of the wealthiest men on earth. This is important because coupled with his genius and science knowledges, it takes his resources to build some of the things he uses. More advanced than anything on any market, beyond government grade, his resources gives him access to some of the best on earth when it comes to materials and gadgets that go into building the things he needs in his line of work.

Batmobile: A cool fast car that is dark as the night, it is urban camouflaged for optimum stealth. Police can't seem to find it, nor can they catch it. It can go faster than nascar vehicles (200+ mph). Better than a turbine engine, capable of 1700 horsepower, it runs on five cylinders. It fires up to 19 types of projectiles, inclined a flame-retardant foam for fire fighting, as well as nets and non-letahl ways to stop opponents, but some are harmful such as concussive missiles and EMP disruptors. It can fire a grappling like projectile as well, used to make hairpin turns, literally hairpin turns. Oddly, one should be capable of handing high g forces while driving this vehicle, for their own safety. The car can withstand automatic weapons fire of high calibre, it is far more durable than the batsuit.

Batwing: It is not only equipped as a fighter vehicle, it includes a lot of stealth technology and high tech surveillance technology. Batman is highly undetectable by modern surveillance technologies employed by most military forces around the world. He can spot things on the ground with UV and infrared cameras that can see finer detail than most police copters cameras.

Utility Belt: Full of an assortment of gadgets and gizmos, this belt is equipped with criminal investigative equipment, he can do full scene forensics by collecting samples with everything he needs right on this belt. It also stores grappling line to help him when getting about the city, fired from his suit. There is usual an small array of other things to help him be stealth as well, include small flash pellets and caltrops as needed.

Batsuit: The batsuit is the best armor one could find for mobility and stealth in mind as well. Flexible and protective, the mix of kevlar and nomex makes him impervious to bullets as well as fires. It holds his utility belt which gives him a lot of features as well, but the batsuit is equipped with breathing apparatus to breath in fires or even underwater. There is also extensions in his cape that makes him capable of gliding from high places in the city if he needs to while the gloves include claws and extensions as well which help him climb, straight up walls if he needs to. He is no faster than a human doing these things, but he can climb sheer surfaces, jump from high places and survive in some extreme conditions because of his suit.

Side Note on Batman Energy is used for dodging, but theoretically, he could have psychic instead due to his training to avoid mental control, he has a strong willpower.

Martial Artist (Daredevil)

Weakness: His enhanced senses are his weakness. Loud noises can easily make him blind once more and ineffective.

Physical: Matt is a trained martial artist, known to be skilled in many forms of the arts: ninjutsu, aiki jujutsu, jujitsu, kung fu, capoeira, judo, aikido, wrestling, and stick fighting combined with American-style boxing.

Energy: Due to his enhanced hearing, he is capable of dodging many attacks, including energy based attacks. A combination of hearing and in some cases his heightened touch can lead him to perceive changes in even the atmosphere. If he knows the attack is coming, he can usually get out of the way.

Enhanced Hearing: His hearing is so evolved, he has a natural radar sense. It is so finely attuned, he can hear the heartbeat in individuals and is capable as acting as a live polygraph if needed by sensing variations in a heartbeat. It is so good that he can detect buildings and angles to a high degree that sometimes when throwing his baton handle as a weapon he knows how it will reflect and it always makes it back into his hand when he throws it, barring someone else being able to grab it and stop it.

Heightened Touch: His touch is heightened to the degree that he doesn't need braille to read, he can touch a page and feel the print on the paper itself with enough accuracy to read. He can feel minute temperature variations, such as if someone recently touched something, he will know they were there. This also helps him have atmospheric sense to such a fine degree that he can sense the change in the atmosphere before at teleport appears in his vicinity.

Baton: This is a personalized weapon of his. It is carbon steel, the handle detaches and can be used as a throwing weapon, coupled with hearing and touch, he can bounce this such that it usually returns to his hand. While it serves as a walking can when it unfolds, the wire that keeps it together is actually aircraft control cable. This can wind and unwind within the device, and the tip extends into a grappling hook as needed.

Acrobatics: An expert gymnast and training to get around the city in a parkour fashion, Matt Murdock is exceptional in his means to get around a large city with big buildings. Falling, tumbling, and even using his grappling line and the handle to make zip lines, he moves rather fast around the city, vertical as well in scaling and descending. He can move up to 40 mph while swinging or zipping about, and can scale or descend as quickly as an athlete could run.

Mentalist (Jean Grey)

Energy: Through her mind she can create energy blasts and powerful shields to withstand many extremes.

Pyschic: A formadible psychic, few can shield their mind from Jean. Not only can she get into a mind to control it, she can generate psychic blasts that can literally stun or kill an opponents by the shear force thrown at the other's mind.

Mind Control: She can influence, read and control others minds, more than one at a time as needed. She could perhaps do dozens easily, maybe into the hundreds if necessary and she pushed herself. From reading to controlling, controlling is harder and more limited in scope, but she can do this with ease. Few thoughts can be shielded and it is easy to influence most minds, especially those not trained psychically or somehow enhanced to shield their minds. Her sense of control is so acute she can readily take control of another senses, individual. So adapt she can take control of powers and abilities beyond human scope, including using others powers and abilities. From energy blasts to magic (reading the mind to use spells and such).

Mind Communication: Entering a mind she can create link that allows communication between individuals. She can do this over great distances as well as establish mutual links between multiple parties as needed. The better she knows someone the easier this is to maintain, up to and including knowing about other individuals as long as their on the same planet even. She can also communicate with animals without understanding how they normally communicate, the relationship between minds so strong they simply understand the thought vibrantly enough to make communication flawless.

TK Strength: Her strengh is impressive, she can lift many tons at a time simply with her mind if needed, and yet fine enough control that she can grab and hold many objects in complex patterns as needed. She can reach and grab objects in Earth's Orbit and hold hundreds of objects at a time with precise control to know what each item is that is held and manipulation enough to make each individual item do a different thing.

TK Senses: Her sense are so heightened through TK that she can feel color and texture in her surrounding, her sense is so acute she can feel molecular patterns. She is so aware that should anything change, move or be touched while she is sensing she is immediately aware of this.

TK Flight: She can fly and she can fly fast, but coupled with her strength she can lift groups of people to take along with her while she files. Its impressive, and the extent of people she can carry is yet to be fully tested. Then again, no purpose to carry massive groups of people around has arisen either.
